Historic Preservation Tools
Tools for Individual Students and Teams

Historic preservation work does not carry a high tool requirement for much of the basic work. A student can be well prepared with a relatively small and affordable set of tools. Many people already working in the construction industry will already have most of these tools.

These are lists of the tools, models and approximate costs.


Students Tools

This set of tools cost approximately $75 per student and we recommend each student brings a set.

Our students will work in teams of four and each team requires the following tools:

The practical work done during our Historic Preservation Courses improves buildings at Fort Worden State Park which benfits everybody using the Park..The School is seeking donations ofany of these tools from the public as new or used tools. We are looking to work with the Friends of Fort Worden (a 501(c)3 non-profit) to accept donation on behalf of restoration work at the Fort.
