Make History in 2012!

Become a Charter Member of the Port Townsend School of Woodworking

Share your passion for wood and woodworking by becoming a Charter Member as we start the transformation of the Port Townsend School of Woodworking into the premier Woodworking and Historic Preservation teaching and learning center in the Northwest.

By becoming a Charter Member you will help us expand opportunities for the next generation of woodworkers. The young people who learn traditional skills of woodworking and historic preservation with us will become torchbearers for the traditional standards of workmanship to future generations.

While tuition fees cover the cost of operating the School, this Charter Membership Campaign will help us build the resources to:

  • Work with the local woodworking community to set up mentoring and intern programs for graduates of our intensive courses

  • Expand our historic preservation program and restore historic buildings in Fort Worden

  • Improve the School's bench room and workshops

Joining the Port Townsend School of Woodworking family will give you the satisfaction of knowing that you have a played a role in helping the School fulfill it's promise to serve the woodworking community.

In 2012 we are giving Charter members the opportunity to enroll for classes ahead of general registration. More details

Your gift of $120 or more will be recognized with a leaf on the 'Tree of Giving' at the School. The more you give the bigger the leaf! Gifts under $120 will be acknowledged in our annual report.  Every gift counts.
