Hand Tool Classes with Garrett Hack
Learn from a Master Craftsman

Garrett Hack is coming to Port Townsend and teaching for seven days in September 2009.

This is a marvellous opportunity to learn from a master craftsman and contributing editor to Fine Woodworking.

Garrett's Bio:

"Garrett Hack is a furnituremaker, author, and woodworking teacher from Thetford Center, Vermont, where he also runs a small homestead farm. Internationally known, his work and Federal inspired brick shop have been featured in numerous magazines and books. He is a contributing editor at Fine Woodworking and has written two books, The Handplane Book and Classic Hand Tools. Garrett spends about a quarter of his time teaching throughout the country, Canada and England, and is former chairman of the New Hampshire Furniture Masters."

These are classes for folks with some experience with hand tools, the perfect opportunity to tune up and perfect your skills. You can bring your own tools along (see Garrett's comments on hand tools), if you have them, or you can use our tools. Each bench is equipped with Lee Valley (Veritas ) tools and we have a good selection of teaching tools as well.
