Christmas is coming -- make your own Christmas presents. We show you three techniques for quickly making wooden boxes.
Bandsaw boxes are quickly made from solid blocks of wood and do not need to be square.
Square / rectangular boxes with a kerf / spline joint can be made on a table using a simple jig that we’ll teach you how to make.
Using a dovetail bit in a router table with a sliding jig can create boxes with a neat dovetail spline.
We’ll be able to glue up and complete the boxes in the course but you’ll need to apply finish at home. We’ll cover several finishing sequences to give a tough durable finish.
