Bonnie specializes in boxes with threaded lids and has been the pioneer in this field for many years. She designed a threading jig that is an attachment for the lathe.

In this class we will concentrate on designing and turning boxes with threaded lids. Students will have an opportunity to use various materials for inserts and to turn acrylic.

Chatterwork as well as other decorative surface treatments will be explored. Bonnie will share with you her techniques and enthusiasm for turning threaded boxes. Students should have some box making experience.

Note: This course will need a minimum of 6 students to run and we'll need to close out enrollment by 25th of October. If the course does not run we'll fully refund your money.
